Taare Zameen Par is the best example for Aamir Khan dedication towards movies. The concept which he took for this movie is dyslexia which is a mental disease. No one thinks its possible to make a film with this type of concept. But Aamir Khan made it a super hit. With this movie he introduced a child actor Darsheel Safari to Bollywood.
Darsheel played the lead role in this movie. Each and every frame consists him or about him. With his different tooth arrangement and innocent face he attracted the entire Bollywood audience. Because of Aamir Khan's great effort he gave wonderful expressions. These expressions took him to many award functions.
He competed with Shah Rukh Khan in Filmfare Best Actor category. Script writer Amol Gupte identified and selected Darsheel after many auditions for Taare Zameen Par. After this movie he received some commercial ads including the Hutch ad. He won Star Screen and Zee Cinema awards too.
Because of Slumdog Millionare movie Taare Zameen Par lost the chance for Oscar entry.
